FLEUR HOBSON
Director and Solicitor
Fleur is the Director at Hobson Mills Law Limited with experience in all areas of legal practice, focusing on Trusts, Estates, Asset Protection and Relationship Property matters. She also advises and assists clients with residential and business Conveyancing transactions, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorneys and Protection of Personal Property Rights Act 1988 applications. Fleur works hard to ensure her clients receive high quality legal advice to suit their individual circumstances.
After graduating with her LLB from Victoria University, Fleur worked in a large Wellington based commercial law firm before settling in Kāpiti. Fleur believes her experience and training gained while working in a commercial setting has provided her with a good foundation, which she is now able to apply on a more personal level in the Kapiti region.
Fleur loves skiing, football, tramping, travelling and just generally adventuring with her four boys. Fleur is from a large family and enjoys spending time with her family who live locally and those who visit regularly from overseas.

FREYA MARCHANT
Senior Solicitor
Freya started working in general practice after being admitted to the bar in 2016.
She joined the Hobson Mills Law team as a Senior Solicitor in 2020. Freya is a part of the property team and specialises in Residential Conveyancing, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and also advises on Trust and Relationship Property.
Freya comes from a large close-knit family who predominantly live in Kapiti. Outside of work she and her husband enjoy tramping, camping, live shows, travelling and spending time with family, friends and their fur baby Ernie.

MEGAN BURRELL
Estates Administrator
Megan rejoined the team after spending time with the High Court as a Judge Associate.
She currently works alongside our Estates Manager in the Estates Team and brings exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
Megan is a valued team member who is always willing to support her colleagues and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Outside of work, Megan is an amazing cook who loves bringing family and friends together through food. She cherishes spending time with her grandkids and family and
creating special memories with them.
EMMA FOSTER-SMITH
Registered Legal Executive and Office Manager
Emma is a qualified Legal Executive and brings to the team over 10 years of legal experience in Property Conveyancing matters also with a focus in subdivision work.
Emma’s previous background in banking is also a valuable asset to the firm.
Emma is an affiliate member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and Associate member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.
Emma grew up on the Kapiti Coast where she still resides with her family. In her spare timeshe loves mountain biking, walking and outdoor adventures. Emma is a volunteer senior firefighter with the Waikanae Volunteer Fire Brigade with currently 18 years’ service.
JANINE REYNOLDS
Trust Account Manager and Legal Administrator
Janine is our trust account manager and has been with the firm for over 9 years. She has worked in law firms for over 20 years. Janine also plays a key role in assisting with conveyancing, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trust matters and Estates.
Janine has recently moved to the Horowhenua from Kapiti and when not working enjoys golf, bike riding, walking and gardening. She also enjoys time with family and friends.
CORESE BILLS
Estates Administrator
Corese joined the team at the beginning of 2020 and has a background in Real Estate and Banking. Having recently completed her New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies she looks forward to assisting in other areas of the practice.
Currently she manages all Estate matters working alongside our Solicitors. Corese always strives to provide a high level of service to all of our clients.
Corese loves living on the Kapiti Coast, enjoys the beach lifestyle and having fun with family and friends.
SARAH HOLLAND
Receptionist & Legal Assistant
Sarah became an integral part of the Hobson Mills Law team in 2022.
Sarah is the first person to greet you when you call or come into the office and keeps the office running efficiently alongside our team. Sarah also works closely with our Solicitorsproviding a supportive, happy pair of hands making transactions as stress free as possible.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to travel, attend as many music events as possible and enjoys cooking for her family and friends.
